do the rounds. We have all, at some
point, read, heard or even spread
gossip about a celebrity. It is oft said
that, rumours that go around are
rumours—until you are the subject of

Initially, I used to react aggressively and ask my manager to sue
publications for writing untrue information, but I learnt the ways
of the media eventually. Now, I ignore it or vent my feelings about a
rumour to my close friends.
When I started my own business and decided to be an entrepreneur,
there were numerous nasty rumours about where the money and
other backup came from. I realised there was no point in retaliating,
since it might instigate people to gossip more. Recently, there has
